A note from
the author.
I'm a storyteller, a builder, a design leader. And a coffee farmer back home in India, when I can be. Over time I've come to believe they are the same work. The material changes. The judgment doesn't.
Film came first. Before that, a fascination with how small choices accumulate into the feeling of a finished thing. The same instinct runs through everything I've built since: the startup years, where taste got calibrated under pressure, and the design leadership work I do now.
I'm Director of Product Design at Smartsheet, leading design for Applied AI. The work of taking a 20-year-old platform and evolving it, in real time, into an AI-first one. Before Smartsheet, I founded Kilogram.ai, an IoT startup for retail operations, and spent years designing enterprise systems at the scale where small taste decisions compound into very large outcomes.
I write occasionally about AI, design, and how we make decisions when everything can be made. I also build Tinyverse, a personalized therapeutic storytelling platform for children. The place my filmmaking instincts found a second home.
The work of a leader is not to exercise taste.
It is to architect its transmission.
